Job: Design Engineer, Churchill Recruitment

Our client, a specialist within the security and fire detection industry, seeks to recruit an experienced design engineer to join their team. The role will operate within the company design team working alongside the sales department. The principal responsibility of the role is to ensure the quality of technical and commercial input during the bidding of a sales opportunity and the smooth transition from sales into projects for engineering and implementation. You will liaise with consultants and suppliers to obtain the best price and identify the best solution to ensure a competitive quotation is prepared to be included within the design proposal. The successful candidate will require design experience of intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems. Experience of designing fire systems would be considered a distinct advantage. Working knowledge of industry regulations and British Standards is essential.
